By reproducing the Tyka model but with a taller
mast and a single, denser canvas mainsail, this catamaran offers a richly varied
sailing experience.
Easy to manoeuvre in calm conditions
and quick over the water when the wind rises, this catamaran is fun to
use in all weather conditions as well as being simple to handle for beginners
and suitably high-performance for the more advanced sailor.
This
catamaran is absolutely ideal for a fun trip out : suitable for one adult, one
or two young adults or even two children accompanied by a parent.
The
Tyka Sonic is so light that it can be easily moored and launched as need be. Even
unaccompanied, it is easy to handle, transport and right once desalinated.
Attractive deck fittings include a mainsail hoist and 6-blade Cunningham,
tiller extension, and a ball-bearing mainsheet traveller. The roller gennaker
option offers enhanced performance running before the wind.
The Tyka
Sonic is sure to become a cruise companion you'll find hard to replace.
